Exercise 6: Do three kinds of t-test

Use the data from Race 1. Use appropriate t-tests to answer the following questions. Write them up in the manner specified in lecture (or, by Pallant).

• What is a larger number, a person's race time in minutes or their age in years?
• Are people between the ages of 20 and 25 faster than people older than 50?
• Are children (say, younger than 18) on average significantly faster than 30 minutes?

Write a brief paragraph for each, with relevant means, t's, p's, etc. Send a Word document or your answer in a body of an email to psyc7302@gmail.com. Use the subject line "EXERCISE 6."
